Bank holiday service update

Early May & Spring May Bank Holidays Update (2026)

Our service will be slightly reduced over the May bank holiday period. There will be changes to collection times, customer service hours, and availability of certain treatments.

Pharmacy Collection Cut-Off

  • Orders approved before midday Friday 1st May 2026 should be available for same-day collection, provided the pharmacy is open for collection before the Easter Bank Holiday.

     

  • Orders approved before midday Friday 22nd May 2026 should be available for same-day collection, provided the pharmacy is open for collection before the Easter Bank Holiday.

Service closures

      Emergency contraception and asthma will be unavailable due to reduced clinical working hours

      These services will not be available:

      • Between midday Friday 1st May 2026 to 8am Tuesday 5th May 2026.

      • Between midday Friday 22nd May 2026 to 8am Tuesday 26th 2026.

      Delivery by Healthwave

      Healthwave will not have any shipping on Monday 4th May.

      Cold chain (Medicated Weight Loss - Mounjaro & Wegovy)

      Orders for patients outside Dublin received Friday 1st - Monday 4th will ship on Tuesday May 5th.

      Non-cold chain (oral medications)

      Orders for patients outside Dublin received before 12pm Friday 1st will ship the same day for delivery on Tuesday 5th or Wednesday 6th.

      Orders for patients outside Dublin received after 12pm Friday 1st - Monday 4th will ship on Tuesday May 5th.

      Express delivery

      Orders for patients in Dublin received before 12pm on Friday May 1st can be delivered the same day by selecting this shipping method on the order portal.

      Healthwave customer service

      The pharmacy team will be online Saturday May 2nd 10am - 2pm, but offline Sunday 3rd and Monday 4th.

      Customer service hours

      Bank Holiday coverage for messages through your account will be available throughout the bank holiday weekend.

      Our clinicians will be unable to help you in an emergency or with any queries not linked to the services we provide.

      Online consultation

      Step 1

      Select a medication and complete a short questionnaire.

      Our doctors approve your treatment

      Step 2

      A doctor will assess your answers and, if suitable, provide a prescription.

      In-pharmacy collection

      Step 3

      Your prescription will be sent by our doctors to your chosen pharmacy and you can pay for your treatment in-store.
